Micro Thermal Gas Mass Flow Meter

The basic principle of the intelligent vortex flowmeter is the Kármán vortex street principle, which states that “the vortex shedding frequency is proportional to the flow velocity.” The diameter of the flowmeter’s main body is essentially the same as the instrument’s nominal diameter. An approximately isosceles triangular prism is inserted into the flow body, with its axis perpendicular to the direction of the measured medium’s flow, and its base facing the fluid.
When the measured medium flows past the prism, vortices are alternately generated on both sides of the prism. These vortices are continuously generated and shed, forming two staggered rows of vortices downstream of the prism, known as the “vortex street.” Theoretical analysis and experiments have proven that the vortex shedding frequency is directly proportional to the fluid velocity on the sides of the prism.

The excitation current can be optionally set to 125mA, 187.5mA, or 250mA;

Empty tube measurement function without additional electrodes, continuous measurement, and fixed-value alarm;

Flow velocity measurement range: 0.1 — 15 m/s, flow velocity resolution: 0.5 mm/s;

AC high-frequency switching power supply, voltage applicable range: 85VAC — 250VAC;

DC 24V switching power supply, voltage applicable range: 20VDC — 36VDC;

Network functions: MODBUS, HART (optional);

Display modes for Chinese and English (other languages can be customized);

Internally, there are three totalizers, which can respectively record: forward total, reverse total, and difference total.

Power outage time recording function, automatically records the interruption time of the meter system power supply and recalculates the missed flow;

Hourly total recording function, which records the total flow in hours, suitable for time-of-use metering system;

Infrared handheld operation keyboard for long-distance non-contact operation of all functions of the converter.
